What you need to know
Attending a Polka Dots and Pots pop up event is a creative and relaxing experience for all ages. No matter your skill level there is fun to be had by everyone.
We try to cater our pottery choices to what we believe would be popular for the type of event. You can choose to paint whatever you like on your pottery, we will have some examples that you can use for inspiration!

Summer Holidays Kids Painting Session

Looking for a fun, creative, and mess-friendly activity to keep the kids entertained this summer? Join us for a Kids Pottery Painting Session – the perfect way to spark imagination and let little artists shine! Children will get to choose from a selection of pottery pieces and paint their own masterpiece using vibrant, child-safe paints. Whether it's unicorns, cars or something entirely from their own imagination, they'll love creating something that's totally theirs. Once painted, we'll glaze and fire each piece, ready for collection at our next event or you can select delivery when booking – a wonderful keepsake from a summer well spent! 👩🎨 All materials provided 🎁 Take-home glazed and fired pottery 🖌️ No experience needed – just bring your creativity! Spaces are limited, so early booking is recommended. We also have mugs available to book if parents want to get creative as well!
Book nowHow it works
1st - Pick your pottery
You will be asked to pick what you want to paint when you book. There is a choice of 2-3 pottery pieces to choose from, ranging in prices from £20-£30.
2nd - Paint It
When you attend the event you will be able to design and hand paint your chosen piece. We will talk you through the process and provide you with all the paint, tools and equipment you need. Our paint is non toxic. Please note we cannot guarantee that there are no allergens in them. Please let us know of any allergies and we will advise.
3rd - Collect It
Leave your painted pottery with us, we will glaze it and fire it with a food safe glaze. Your finished product will be ready after 2-3 weeks. You can collect your pottery at our next pop up event or if you wish we can have it delivered with an added fee. If you want your pottery to be delivered, simply select the delivery option when booking.
